However, bar scams are common and can be costly. Here are some tips on how to avoid bar scams while traveling:
• Do not accept drinks from strangers.
• Do not leave your drink unattended.
• Do not give your credit card to the bartender.
• Do not let the bartender charge you for more drinks than you ordered.
